Villa zum Herren

The brief

For a private luxury villa in Berlin, CAVCON delivered the complete tiling trade and major parts of the interior fit-out – across roughly 480 m². The client's requirement: continuous large-format surfaces with a calm joint pattern, premium bathrooms and junctions that hold up under raking light.

Execution

We installed XXL porcelain stoneware in large format – from the representative entrance through the living spaces to the bathrooms. Large formats forgive no shortcuts in the substrate: we checked flatness and residual moisture, worked with levelling systems and laid the panels void-free using the buttering-floating method. In wet areas a bonded waterproofing system to DIN 18534 was applied before the first tile was set.

Result
